A Usersnap alternative
Usersnap describes itself as “The only product evidence platform”: a product-feedback platform: surveys (CSAT, NPS, polls), a feature-request board, and screen-capture tickets, from one snippet. Broken Here is a bug-reporting widget for websites whose tickets carry what actually broke. The table compares the two from what each says on its own pages.
| Usersnap | Broken Here | |
|---|---|---|
| Priced by | Tiers by active projects and page views, with seats capped only on the entry tier | By sites. The whole team is in, reporters are never counted |
| Free plan | A trial that ends at 20 feedback items; no free plan stated | Yes: one site, 50 reports a month, no card |
| Reporter needs an account | No: anyone can send feedback through the widget | No account, ever: a button on the site and one sentence |
| Captured with each report | Browser, device, operating system, URL; screenshots, annotations, screen and audio recording | Page, browser, device, window size, the element, a screenshot with passwords blurred |
| Console errors and failed requests | JavaScript and network errors attached to feedback | Console errors and failed requests in every ticket, on every plan, including Free |
| Install | A code snippet, a WordPress plugin, browser extensions, a mobile SDK | One script tag, or a WordPress plugin |
| Trackers | Slack, Jira, Azure DevOps, Linear, Zendesk, GitHub and more | Yours. If it is not connected yet, we add it; GitHub for the coding agent's pull requests |
Usersnap’s column is what its own pages said on 1 October 2026: usersnap.com, usersnap.com/pricing, usersnap.com/features. We left prices out because they change; see theirs, and Broken Here pricing. If a cell is wrong, write in and we fix it.
When your own API fails
Tell the project which API is yours. When a request to it fails in front of a visitor, the widget can offer them a report with the failure already filled in. With no API named it never appears, and a wrong password or a form error never interrupts anyone.
Where Broken Here is different
One job: the bug
Usersnap spans surveys, feature voting and feedback. Broken Here does bug reports only, from a client, a colleague on the admin app or a customer on the live site, and puts everything a developer needs in the ticket.
Priced by sites, not by seats and page views
No page-view tier to outgrow on a busy site, and no seat count; the price follows the sites you look after.
A free plan, not a trial
One site with 50 reports a month, for as long as you like.
When to pick Usersnap instead
Pick Usersnap if you are a product team that wants NPS and CSAT surveys, a feature-request board and bug reports in one place, or a mobile SDK. Pick Broken Here if what you need is bug reports that reach your tracker with the evidence attached, for a website or several.
See it on one report
The live demo is a page built to break, carrying the real widget. Break it, report it, and read the ticket. Or check one of your pages for the errors a report would carry. We wrote the same page for BugHerd, Marker.io and Userback, and the comparison table puts Broken Here, Marker.io and BugHerd side by side.
