About
About Broken Here
Broken Here is a website bug reporting tool for agencies and small web teams whose bugs are found by clients, colleagues and customers. Whoever finds the bug clicks what is broken and writes one sentence; the team gets a ticket in its own tracker with the console errors, failed requests, browser and screenshot already in it.
What Broken Here does
A client writes “the Pay button does nothing” and the developer spends the next hour asking which page, which browser and what the console said. Broken Here is one script tag on the site, or a WordPress plugin, that adds a button. The person who found the bug clicks the broken element and writes one sentence, with no account and nothing to install, and the ticket that opens in your tracker carries everything they would not have known to type: the page, the element, the browser, the console warnings and errors, the requests that failed and a screenshot.
What makes Broken Here different
- The evidence is in the ticket. Console errors and failed requests are captured from the moment the page loaded, not only the screenshot, so the developer starts from what the browser saw. How that compares.
- Priced by sites, not seats. Free for one site, $29 a month for up to 5 sites and $79 for up to 25, with the whole team, every client login and every reporter included. Marker.io and BugHerd charge by the people on the tool (see Marker.io and BugHerd). Pricing.
- Nobody who reports needs an account. No sign-up, no browser extension: a visitor on the live site reports the same way a client does before launch.
- Private by default. Headers and cookies are never captured, passwords are blurred in the screenshot, and request bodies are off unless you turn them on. What is and is not captured.
- A report can go to a coding agent. One press hands a report, or a whole review round, to a coding agent that reads your repository and opens a pull request. How the handoff works.
Who uses Broken Here
- Agencies and studios with client sites, who want clients to report without an account and each client’s bugs in that client’s board. Bug reporting for agencies.
- Small product teams with a live site or an admin app that colleagues and customers use every day, who want the bug report to arrive with the error that caused it.
Who is behind Broken Here
Broken Here is built and run by an independent developer, and went live in September 2026. It exists because a bug found by somebody who does not code usually reaches the developer as one sentence and nothing else, while the browser that showed the bug already knew the error behind it. There is no sales team: write to hello@brokenhere.com and the person who built it answers. A tracker that is not supported yet is added when a customer asks for it.
